1. What are your names and roles in the band?

Band-
I (Cresson) am the vocals and an occasional guitar, and I mean occasional. Chris is the lead guitar, and Jon plays the bass. We are currently auditioning drummers, for our drummer of 2 years up and left. We had different visions for the band.

2. Does the name "Meridium" have any meaning behind it?

Band-

We tossed around a few names for awhile, and we finally came to Meridium. Meridium is being in the musical state of synergy. We feel we reach that moment every time we perform.

3. You named your CD "Time At Hand", why was that?

Band-
We recorded a few tracks a year ago, then began the rest of the cd in April of '07. Half way through the recording sessions our drummer quit. So we finished the cd acoustically. In which I think worked out very well. So we felt that the cd showed where we were at the time. We never wanted to start with a half acoustic cd, but it was the "Time at Hand". Its where we were at that time....

4. What can we expect from a Meridium performance?

Band-
A definite good time, high energy, and always good music. We love to interact with the crowd, play a few classics, and we are always trying new things to make each and every show unique and special. When we hit the stage anything can happen.

5. Can we expect any new material soon?

Band-
You will be able to download our cd from iTunes and Rhapsody in the next month, but as for new we are currently working on our second cd. Its fun to be back to writing and experimenting with different sounds. We have definitely grown and learned a few tricks here and there. We plan to be out promoting the cd around March '08. We are also trying to find the label that best suits us and will continue to search until we are comfortable with a label......But look for the new cd in March.

6. Any good show stories?

Band-
Each night has a great story, our fans are pretty wild, so anything can happen. One of my favs though was the night when we had a 70 year old drunk guy, and I kid you not he was at the minimum 70, he somehow got into the middle of crowd surfing. He went from North to South, East to West like a rag doll, you couldnt tell if he was dead or alive. He finally made it the stage all wrinkled and drunk. I looked down at him and he was smiling toothless from ear to ear...and said f___ yeah!!...a vision I will soon not forget.....

7. What's your favorite song to play live and why?

Band-

We enjoy any opportunity we get to perform, its the best rush in the world, so its truly hard to pick one. But to answer the question, we each have different ones. I personally like "Save Me" because it takes me back to the time that I wrote it, and how I overcame the state I was in at the time. Chris likes "Shame" because it has so many changes and solos, just a diverse song from the guitar. It is one of our better live songs so I see his point. Jon is a fan of "Empty" because he gets to show off his skills at the bass, he came up with a pretty sick bass line on that one.

8. If you could tour with any three acts, who would they be?

Band-
Alice in Chains with Layne Staley....Period.

9. What are you currently listening to?

Band-
Dirt-- Alice in Chains

10. What's next for Meridium?

Band-
We are ready to get back to performing after taking a little time off. We are looking forward to reaching more fans on iTunes and Rhapsody. We are excited about what we have so far on the second cd, and we can not wait to start promoting it in March. I think we are heading in the right direction, we are definitely having a great time, so we will keep rocking until the end.......

11. Any shoutouts?

Band-
