From: Boston, MA
Sounds like: Post Punk/Indie Pop/New Wave

Contact are a group that have gone through some obstacles in the past few years but have always come out unscathed and better for it. The group are back with their newest single "Gravekeeper" so let's dig in and see why this single is an evolution from their previous sound. The track starts off with a nice synth laden opening to pull in the listener. The verse builds and builds (along with the instrumentation) until the chorus and that's when the track explodes into a Post Punk sound that's out of this world. The electronic breaks on the track help build that extra depth. The second verse has a slight hint of Pop Punk to it but they seamlessly mix Punk, Indie Rock and Synth Pop overall on the track that makes it easily accessible to everyone who listens to music. The track closes out with the highly infectious chorus. Contact have a radio hit on their hands with this catchy as hell single.

Verdict:
This new "Gravekeeper" single from Contact is out of this world awesome.
