Sounds like: Rock

The UK based Rock band Premise recently released this six track "Sentiment" to the masses, so let's not waste any time and see what they're all about. The opening track "Vultures" bursts at the seams with the soaring Rock sound from the get go. The track helps set the tone with high energy Rock that brings to mind You Me At Six. It has tremendous depth which helps solidify it as a great opener. "Tides" opens with an infectious guitar riff before transitioning into a sound that is incredibly easy to listen to. The melodic riffs, soaring vocals and toe tapping drums make this a track that is tough to stop listening to. "Playing Dangerous" veers into Hard Rock with some heavier riffs but still never loses sight of the melodic Rock that really helps make them as catchy as they are. This track is incredible as it bounces with a Hard edge that makes it a stand out track for sure. "Mirrors" has an Emery influence written all over it. The track is super duper catchy and fires in all cylinders as it keeps the energy high throughout its four minute length. "So Far Away" has a different sound to it. The track cranks things even higher as it bobs and weaves into Hard Rock/Post Hardcore territory. It's a top notch track that should be listened to right away. The closing track "Stars Align" is a slow build Rock ballad that features tremendous heart, passion and emotion. It's truly epic and puts a bow on top of the outstanding EP.

Verdict:
The UK Rock scene is absolutely thriving with bands like Premise on the rise.
