Sounds like: Punk

Minnesota Punk band 12th Avenue's newest release "Louder Actions" EP was released a few months ago, so let's dive on in and see what they're all about. The opening track "Fun In The Sun" is fast, in your face and unapologetic. The track is barely two minutes long but contains a ton of angst. "I Got Robbed" opens with a nice little riff before cruising into a Skate Punk influence. The track is upbeat and energetic and brings to mind the band Activate! "When I'm With You" has shades of early Green Day in its delivery. The track is more radio friendly than the previous tracks but still has that harder Punk edge to it. The closer "Get Out" is a bit more subdued at first before blasting into a distorted guitar frenzy. The track is an absolute stunner of a Punk track and really wraps things up nicely. The production is raw on the EP but it packs a Punk punch that fans of the genre will surely respect.

Verdict:
12th Avenue brings their form of Skate Punk to the masses via their newest EP.
