"The Whole World Fights With Me" Album Review
The opener "The Story Begins" is an intro track that builds atmosphere with its ambient tones. "The Real Life" kicks in and erupts with an incredible breakdown that kicks things off on a heavier tone. The track blazes through at a frantic clip as the old school Metalcore vibes are strong. The track sets a standard of heaviness and melody that the rest of the album has to live up to. "Personal Rights" has shades of Blessed By A Broken Heart to it. The synth laden Metal sound is catchy as well as aggressive. The track twists and turns with its riffs to keep things interesting throughout. "Superhero" has a bounce factor in its opening. The jumpy breakdown will get the live crowd moving for sure. The melodic riffs and vocals kick in and bring with it a more Atreyu like sound. "Vigilante" opens with audio clips before evntually setting its footing in some awesome riffing. The whirlwind like Metal sound drives full speed ahead and doesn't slow down during its near five minute length. "Traitor" gets right into the meat of things. Possibly the heaviest track on the album, the intensity is awe inspiring in its delivery. "The Story of A Man Who Lost Everything" is more melodic than the previous track. The instrumentation is at the forefront for the first minute of the track before the vocals kick in. The melodic Metal sounds are top notch with a dash of harsh vocals thrown in for good measure. "Undivided" will get mosh pits flowing for days. The synth Metalcore sounds ooze off every note and the track really shines bright in its delivery. "This Life's Eating Me Like a Shark" is bouncy, catchy and still has an edge to it. The track is a good follow up to the previous track as it still has a similar foundation with its Synth laden Metalcore sounds. "Virus" kicks the pace into high gear. The track goes all out and is an audio assault on the senses. The riffs, vocals and chaos are turned to 11. The title track is next and it summarizes their signature sound perfectly. The track is a good example of what they have to offer as the dynamic range of synths, Metalcore and melodies can contend with the heavy hitters of the genre. The closer "The Fear From Beyond" is an outro that wraps up the album with atmospheric tones to help close things out.

Destroyers of Reality are ready to take on all with their newest album.
