InComing Days

InComing Days (Punk/Metal) - Washington

-Interview- (7/29/22)
1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name "InComing Days" and is there any meaning behind it?

We all got our start differently on an individual level, most of us playing music and our instruments for most of our lives. But we got our start as a group through a craigslist ad that was made by guitar player Travis Hewson and was responded to by bassist Chris Corey. From there we found all the other members through mutual friends or networking online. The sound was mainly developed from a vast array of different influences that we all have as individuals, yet we bring it all together with our mutual love for bouncy mosh inducing riffs that make you want to jump! The name InComing Days comes from our bassist Chris. It can mean many things from the state of the world to your own mental observations in daily life, but we prefer to let people interpret it however they see best.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

A positive experience, an excuse to let loose and party. A personal connection that were all friends and family in the ICD Crew and we want people to feel as though they're a part of that!

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

Party-Metal you can groove to! With a Punk Rock flare and a Rock n Roll attitude!

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Attila, A Day To Remember and Body Count.

5. How has Covid affected what you do?

It gave us a lot of extra time to buckle down and practice and write new material. It did slow us down a bit with some touring plans but we're bouncing back stronger than ever and excited to join the rest of the world back at some killer Rock shows!

6. What’s your take on the current state of Punk/Metal?

Love it! So much new music coming out right now! It's inspiring. We find new fans all the time from all walks of life imaginable, and of all sorts of ages. I think that if anybody has complaints about the state of Punk and Metal, they're not going to the right shows! And those shows are all over all the time!

7. What’s the current music scene like locally there in Washington?

A lot of great bands out here! Seatle is a major hub for all types of music! There's a lot of shows and a lot of people hungry for live music.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

It is what it is! Being adaptable in the music industry is key. The industry standards change with out warning all the time. People don't make money the same way they used to off of music but people don't consume music the same way either.

9. What’s next for InComing Days?

New music video on the way! Gigging and touring in support of our new album "Off The Map".

10. Any shoutouts?

Nocturnal Management and Kaotic Studios.
