1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name "MadClock" and is there any meaning behind it?

I started playing guitar at 15, formed an Acoustic Rock duo in 2009 called "Two Stoopid Dogs" and that really started my live music career outside of writing and recording. That band broke up, and I didn't want to quit doing music so I started messing around with samples and beats, and slowly evolved the solo rap project "MadClock". MadClock is an acronym for Me Against Death's Clock. I feel like I'm racing against the clock to make a name for myself and do something bigger with my music.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

It's pure, raw, passion and energy. People don't expect to hear what comes out of me and I feel that's my biggest draw.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

Unapologetic, terrorizing form of dark and emotional Hip Hop.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Dropout Kings, Twiztid, and Skitz Kraven.

5. How has Covid affected what you do as a band?

It halted live shows for a time, so I buckled down and recorded an entire acoustic EP. It's turned out to be a reoccurring series called "Murder Ballads" in volumes, so keep an eye out for those.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Dark Trap?

It's a unique genre, it tapers the lines between Horrorcore and darker hip hop. It doesn't always have to be buckets of blood, there are plenty of other ways to terrify your listeners.

7. What’s the current music scene like locally there in Pennsylvania?

Every changing and evolving. There's new music everywhere all the time and it's exciting.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

Garbage, but understandable considering it's so widely accessible to anyone that can pay to get on the platforms.

9. What’s next for MadClock?

Evolving the live show and spreading the good word. Traveling to foreign states to play new venues, meeting all new walks of life, and giving them the experience of a lifetime.

10. Any shoutouts?

My beautiful wife and kids who constantly support my dream, my amazing team at First Angel Medai, my dancer Bella, my DJ Andy Dabz, and everyone that has helped me get this far.
