From: Adelaide, Australia
Sounds like: Rock

Quaint Attraction is a Rock band from Australia that released this five track EP back over the Summer. The entire EP was self recorded and self produced by the band. "Make Your Move" opens things up by way of some fantastic guitar riffs and melody that digs deep and helps set the emotional tone early. The guitar solo on the track is very soulful and adds another dimension to the already rockin' good time. "Don't Go Home" draws in shades of the White Stripes. There's a dance like quality to the track that is sure to draw in people. There's a build up later in the track that results in a blast of guitar work. The track has a few different layers to it which makes it a stand out track. "Stand Up, Don't Stand By" is bouncy number with a nice little riff before exploding into the highly infectious chorus. The track brings to mind Incubus with its melody. "Made It On Your Own" takes the listener on a passionate journey through a gentle soft side of the band. The track is a great example of how deep the band can go with their signature sound. "There's No Trouble In Paradise, Tayla" is an acoustic bonus track. While the EP ends of a softer, more delicate side of the band, it shows the awesome range that they have. Keep an eye out for Quaint Attraction and if you like your Rock music to have depth and heart then check them out right away.

Verdict:
Quaint Attraction have no trouble showcasing their signature sound in their newest EP.
