Third & Delaware are a young up and coming band from Dallas, TX which incorporates the sounds of Metalcore, Post Hardcore and melody into a familiar, yet fresh sound. They recently released their "Pardon The Sun" single go let's dive in and see what they're all about. The track kicks off with a slow build before erupting into a Post hardcore/atmospheric breakdown. It's a tremendous way to start things off. Once the breakdown subsides, the track goes full speed ahead with a more Melodic Metalcore sound with driving instrumentation with harsh vocals on top of ground shaking breakdowns. The clean sung chorus really elevates the track to the new heights as it has shades of Emery or even a touch of Underoath. The melodic instrumentation is top notch later in the track and once the vocals kick back in, all bets are off. The track ends on a high note as breakdowns and melody put a little bow on the masterpiece of a heavy, yet melodic single. Keep your ears and eyes on Third & Delaware if you want a perfect mix of Metalcore and Post Hardcore.
