Iridia did an awesome job of creating 11 tracks that showcase their unique hard rock style perfectly. If you like Tool or A Perfect Circle then this album should be in your collection.

Utah recently has quite a bit of solid rock bands coming up and breaking through. Within the past decade bands like Stretch Armstrong, The Used, Neon Trees and Imagine Dragons have all come up in the Beehive state. Iridia have recently released a full length album here that is sure to put their names alongside those acts. "Falling From The Storm" starts things off with a rainy atmospheric opening which then leads into a progressive rock style track. The track brings to mind the band Shun. "Stone Cover" is a heavy rock track through and through. There's an A Perfect Circle influence in the track that will sure appeal to fans of the genre. "Hallochrist" opens with a 9/11 news audio clip and then turns things up a notch. The track is a solid addition to the album as it has melody and aggression to really keep the subject matter on track. "Veil Of Fault" continues the onslaught of the Iridia sound. The chugging pace and melody keep the track strong throughout its four and a half minute pace. "Drone" opens with a Bill Hicks audio clip and then proceeds to unleash a devastation of rock sound on the listener. The sound on the track is comparable to early Staind and will sure get fans singing along and moshing at their live shows. "From Me To You" picks things up and really unloads the heavy artillery on the track. It's crushing and has a lot of good things going for it. "Interlude" is just that as it is 35 second second track full of feedback sounding noises. "Drive" continues with the ambient sounds from the interlude track. The track is a really good rock track once it gets going. "Dirty Nail" is a slow driving track that will sure catch the ear of the listeners on the album. The track feels like a single as it sets the bar really high in terms of quality. "Lineage" is a slow build intimate type track. The track is really something special to listen to. "Metanoia" continues the sound from the interlude track sound and closes things out on a more ambient sound.

Verdict:
Iridia did an awesome job of creating 11 tracks that showcase their unique hard rock style perfectly. If you like Tool or A Perfect Circle then this album should be in your collection.
