From: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Sounds like: Alternative Rock/Pop Punk

The Philadelphia music scene over the years has been thriving with more and more up and coming bands taking aim at more and more listeners with the high quality of music they're pumping out. Some would even say that Philly has the hottest scene right now. With local acts such as Modern Baseball and The Wonder Years catapulting the scene even higher, Danger Club is looking to join the fray to take the Philly scene to an even higher level. The introduction track "The Unraveling Of All Things" opens up the album an uplifting fashion that aims to wake up the senses. "PANIC" kicks off right away and brings with it a highly infectious chorus and awesome vocals that'll get the listener singing along in no time. The track has that slight Pop Punk style that features some breakdowns and high energy riffs at times. "The Blinking Light On Top Of The Mountain" opens up in an almost emo fashion with its Mewithoutyou type sound which then gives way to more Pop Punk tendencies and brings to mind Knuckle Puck. "Eater Of Worlds" starts off with a breakdown that'll get the live crowd jumping along in no time. The track is a little harder than the previous tracks but boy does it shine. The riffs and catchy appeal of the track is off the charts. "Arsonists" takes the pace down a notch at times but still features the explosive choruses that helps keep the energy at a high clip. "A Muted Summer" is a track that the listener won't soon forget. It has a ton of layers to it and is catchy as hell as a result. "I'm Not In This For Your Revolution" is a Pop Punk track through and through and should be on every Pop Punk fans playlist. The guitar solo on the track is even bonkers! "The Seaward" is a single off the album and it delivers. It wastes no time in bringing their ultra catchy sound to even higher levels. It's a track that should be heard immediately and brings to mind the more high energy tracks of Weezer. "Waiting For Nothing" is five minutes of pure Danger Club bliss. They really know how to captivate the listener with their sound and it's on full display with this track. "You Are An Anthem" has a more Rock ballad feel to it. The lighters will be out during the live show if they performed this track for sure. It's a highly emotional track and is a true gem. The closer "Ghosts And Machines" fires on all cylinders and doesn't hold back. The track is just as infectious as the previous ten tracks and that is a true feat. This entire album is just hit after hit and should be in everyone's' collection for a long time to come.

Verdict:
Danger Club has an album here that seamlessly blends the genres of Alternative Rock, Pop Punk and Emo.
