This is a hot off the presses EP from Alabama's Never Mind The Damage. Let's dive right in and see what they're all about. "Fight Night" opens up the EP with a crunchy Nu Metal type sound. The track brings to mind Flaw with its melody and ferocity. The guitar solo on the track is brilliant and really takes it up a notch. "Home" is much more subdued than the opening track. The track has shades of the more modern Rock sound of Incubus. The track features a nice little layered surprise later on that'll keep the listener on edge. "Skin" is a track that features a whirlwind of sound that teeters on the line between Hard Rock and Metal. The breakdown on the track will surely get the live crowd moving. The track packs quite the punch. "Hypocrisy" is hard as nails and wastes no time in delving back into the Nu Metal sound with a bit of rapping. The melodic chorus will get people singing along in no time. The track is a unique beast but should be well received by fans of the genre. "Paralyzed" is a Metal track through and through. It's the hardest track on the EP and doesn't hold anything back. The track brings to mind early Korn and brings the mosh with its intensity. "Someone Like You" is a Adele cover and surprisingly works pretty well. The track knows when to slow down and crank up. It shows a different side of the band and it really shines. The EP overall is a solid showcase as to what the band is all about.

Verdict:
Never Mind The Damage deliver an impressive new EP that's sure to strike a chord with Rock/Metal fans.
