Sounds like: Rock

Rock music is in a resurgent period right now and The Wires from Sweden are looking to put their stamp on the genre with their new three track "High On Life" EP. Let's dive in and see what they're all about. The opener "Betrayed" kicks off with a nice little riff before blasting into some powerful Rock sound. The track has shades of Breaking Benjamin to it as the uplifting chorus and hard riffs are front and center. The guitar solo later on in the track is out of this world. It's an awesome opener and really helps set the tone. "High On Life" is a bit slower but has some tremendous radio appeal. It's a highly accessible track that brings to mind the 90's Rock acts. It's incredible and definitely has what it takes to be a fan favorite right away. The closer "The Game" has a bite to it. The track is a roller coaster of Rock fun. The track has an incredible amount of melody and riffs to it and really digs deep to create a Rock sound that's hard to ignore. If you're a fan of Rock music, you need to check these guys out right now!

Verdict:
The Wires shine bright with their new "High On Life" EP.
