Sounds like: Pop Punk

New Age Affair are looking to make their mark in the Pop Punk world and with their newest "Sold Out" EP, they might just be onto something. The opening track, and previous single "Slip Away" kicks things off with an upbeat guitar riff which sways into Pop Punk territory right away before exploding into their trademark Pop Punk sound. The first verse glides along effortlessly with the upbeat sound of Green Day's early work. Later in the track there's a guitar solo that helps transcend the track to new heights. The chorus comes back in and is incredibly easy to sing along to. "Detonate" features Chelsea Gilliland and is overall more upbeat than the opener. The driving tones and dual vocals make it an instant hit. It's a top notch track that should pull in more listeners with ease. "Carry On" has that early Green Day sound to it. The groove of the instrumentation combined with the super catchy chorus is enough to get stuck in your head for days. "For You" is an acoustic ballad. It's a passionate track that shows off a different side of the band. It's a nice break before the next track. "Get Bent" picks up the pace nicely. The tempo is different and brings back the late 90's Alternative Rock/Punk. It's super duper catchy and will surely turn some heads their way. The closing track "Someday" is more Hard Rock than the previous tracks. The soaring chorus, hard driving riffs and overall sound puts a tight bow on an incredible EP.

Verdict:
New Age Affair throws their hat into the ever evolving world of Pop Punk with their new outstanding EP.
