Sounds like: Hard Rock/Metal

Afraid of Human's highly anticipated full length album is finally here so let's dive on in and see what they're all about. "Through The Lies" opens up the album and sets an awesome tone with stellar guitar work, melodic vocals and a sound that pulls in the listener quickly and effectively. It's a perfect opener that has tons of depth. "All I Am" delivers high energy via their tremendous guitar work. The Hard Rock sound on the sound brings to mind Five Finger Death Punch and Godsmack. It's a highly infectious, hard rockin' track that's really easy to appreciate. "Gut Check" is the shortest track on the album and packs quite the punch. The intensity of the track combined with the otherworldly melodies make it a stand out track for sure. "The One" takes the listener on an emotional journey through melodic Rock combined with a tad of crunchy Metal. The track brings to mind the early sound of Breaking Benjamin. "Now You Know" has a bit of a Southern draw to it. The Buckcherry influence comes out on the track as it could easily be played on the radio and be rocked out to. The soaring chorus is top notch and really shows off the range of the lead singer perfectly. "Ghost in the Shadows" starts things off with some top notch guitar work before unleashing a Hard Rock sound that will surely get the live crowd headbanging and moshing along. It's a track that doesn't hold anything back within its five minute span. "Walk With Me" slows things down a bit in the beginning before blasting full speed ahead with a high octane sound. The headbanging appeal is off the charts with the track as the riffs keep coming and the melodies are catchy as hell. "Livin' It Up" is a rockin' good time. The upbeat track is awesome and great to have the windows down and blare it at full volume. "Repercussions Of War" is a tad heavier than the previous tracks. The track barrels full speed ahead with its more Metal stylings and really raises the bar in the level of intensity. The track brings to mind Hellyeah and the track is a testament to how heavy the band can go when they want to. "From The Ashes" is a ballad like track that pulls at the heartstrings of the listener until it eventually explodes into a high driving Rock sound. The passionate track shows a different side of the band and everything works wonderfully (especially the incredible guitar solos). The closer "My Everything" is exhilarating and a real treat to listen to. If you want a song that encapsulates the Afraid of Human sound, this is it. The track has a lot going for it and doesn't hold back. Any fan of Hard Rock music needs this album in their life.

Verdict:
Afraid of Human up the ante with their Hard Rock/Metal sound via their new full length album.
