Sounds like: Rock

The opening track "Nameless" has shades of Life of Agony in its delivery as the NY Hardcore vibes come through strong in its aggression. It's a solid opener that sets the bar pretty high for the rest of the album. "What The Fuck" is next and it keeps the aggressive tones blaring full volume. The up and down nature of the track has shades of Nu Metal as the bass, riffs and vocals bring the heaviness as well as melody. "Fight Club" would be perfect to induce a circle pit in the live setting. Everything is hard and heavy as it barrels full speed ahead. "Living In The Moment" is the longest track on the album, clocking in at over seven minutes. The track has more of a Progressive Rock feel to it as the downtempo riffs and melodic vocals take the forefront. "Hope Dies" continues the more laid back sound from the previous track. The six minute track does ramp up to take its melody to the upper atmosphere in the chorus but it expands its range well overall. "Chase The Moon" takes things even slower. The pacing has Tool like tendencies with its more methodical approach. "Wolves, Lemmings and Sheep" picks up the pace a bit as it treads into the more Hard Rock category. The track glides along the Rock radio track and actually pulls it off quite well. The track will get some toes tapping for sure. "Ashes and Dust" slows things back down. It does have its more amped up moments by way of some distorted guitar work but otherwise its mostly a somber tone until the last thirty seconds. "Long Winding Road" keeps the Rock sound chugging along. The timid tone takes hold and keeps things along the steady pace. "Manica Satanica" gets things back up to the more high energy sound. The Rock/Punk influence comes out and it's a track that simply shreds. "Devil's Doorbell" slows the pace back down. The track is purely Rock and its lyrical content will strike a chord with listeners. "Make Love To The Bones" is more timid and laid back than the previous tracks. It shows off a different side of the band for sure. The title track closes out the album in outro, atmospheric form as it's less than a minute long and wraps up the album.

Verdict:
In The Next Life turns up the heat with their Rock stylings.
