"Ichor" kickstarts the EP with a feral sound that is chaotic from the jump. The Melodic Hardcore foundation brings to mind Comeback Kid in its intensity and sing alongs. "Loyal to Sacrifice" keeps the frantic pace churning along as it pours out even more passion and emotion in its circle pit inducing fury. The riffs are on point and create a whirlwind like atmosphere towards the ending. "World of Ash" has a bouncy feel to it fro the get go and just yearns to be a fan favorite. The heaviness and melodic riffs go hand in hand perfectly as the track showcases their talents to a T. The ending of the track shifts and soars with Hardcore confidence and closes out the EP in style. Three tracks is nowhere near enough and makes the listeners yearn for more.
Verdict:
Heathen Hearts knock it out of the park with their newest EP.
