From: Minnesota
Sounds like: Pop Punk

The opener "You Don't Need a Studio Mic for Court" brings the energy by ways of its early New Found Glory bounce and melodies. "Basketball is Just Slow Hockey" continues the high tempo pace as it barrels full speed ahead with its Pop Punk prowess. The guitar work is especially fantastic as it shines bright with its riffage. "Four Handles (of Whiskey)" will get the live crowd jumping along. The track is pure Pop Punk at its core and unleashes all kinds of melody and bounce. "I'll Probably be Arrested Before this Show is Over" brings more emotion with it as its mostly acoustic before erupting towards the end with passion and heavier instrumentation. The closer "Brought a Sixer, Doors Still Locked" keeps the Pop Punk flag flying high. The track wraps up the EP on a high note and any and all fans of Pop Punk should easily dig this through and through.

Verdict:
Fighting Our Friends make their mark on the Pop Punk world with their new EP.
