Sounds like: Metalcore/Groove Metal
From: Michigan
"Six Feet Down" doesn't waste any time in opening up the album in high octane fashion. The riffs hit hard from the first note to the last. The melodic vocals make it easy to sing along to as they catch the groove of the track perfectly. There's a slight Iron Maiden feel later on in the track as it cranks up a notch. "Hitchhiker" will get the live crowd move for sure with its hard edge. The circle pit intensity is throughout while also being super infectious with its catchiness. The track is the longest on the album, clocking in at a little over five minutes but it's packing a mighty punch in the runtime. "Stepping Stones' is full speed ahead with its pedal to the Metal sound. The track pulls in the listener with ease by way of its melodies and riffs. There's a touch of aggression that comes through by way of screams but it doesn't overshadow the overall vibe. "Bulletproof" is a toe tapping good time. The track goes all out and the vocals soar with style and grace. The guitar solo is incredible as it adds a tremendous amount of depth. "A Candle in the Dark" eases back a bit and creates a more radio friendly sound than the previous track. There's some craziness in the track that needs to be heard to be believed around the halfway mark. "A Flash in the Pan" is the heaviest track so far on the album. There's a Sludge Metal style to it as it constricts around the listener with its more slower, broody tones. "Lake of Tears" takes the adrenaline back up to 11 as it creates a whirlwind of Metal and melody. The closer "There Are Days" wraps up the album nicely as it showcases the signature sound of the band perfectly. Through and through, Metal Mustang are here and they're ready for the Metal limelight with this album.
Verdict:
Metal Mustang are looking to cause a stampede in the Metal world with their incredible full length album.
