1. What's the word on new music?

We have one new song written and being actively performed at the moment. It is called "Keeping Score." It expanded from a bassline our bassist, Dave DeJong, came up with. More was added to it and it's pretty well formed. Just gotta remember the lyrics somehow when we perform it (it's quite a bit to memorize). And I have tossed some rough drafts around. We just haven't found the time to sit down and actively write others at the moment.

2. You guys dabble in some covers, do you have some cover ideas that you haven't performed live yet?

Perhaps Jane's Addiction's Mountain Song would be a fun one. Not sure. We've kinda stuck with the same two or three covers for a while when we do include them. AC/DC's What's Next to The Moon was one I wanted to cover for a while since the band started, and Dave and Morgan were up for it with the idea of covering a "love song" for Valentine's Day came up. My thought was, well that's a love song! But, otherwise, perhaps Day Tripper would be fun. Not pushing too much though. Would like to work on more.

3. Anymore music videos in the works?

Considering doing one for Trusk. Music videos can just be a lot of meticulous effort and it can be a bummer if they get little to no views. I mean, a lot went into the video for Darkness and that pretty much slipped under any and all algorithm. So, perhaps, if i could see the last two videos on our YouTube channel reach a little more attention, that may be a plan.

4. Which track is your favorite to play live out of your entire catalog?

I personally love every one we've done. If there's a recent favorite, then possibly The Noodle. I get to rest my voice for that one since it's an instrumental.

5. What's your thoughts about AI in music and otherwise?

AI is something I do not really know what to say about which way or another. I certainly wouldn't use it to create art or music because I feel that is cheating. Our songs come together through organic collaboration. And I enjoy drawing and coloring, so I wouldn't use AI for any such thing. I think a creation from human effort is the most impressive. And I know something exists in my brain that I can use my hands to create or help create somehow.

6. Who are you currently listening to?

I can't speak for everyone. But I listen to what I do based on mood or what is inspiring me. Wax Fang are honestly a favorite. Big Black, Naked Raygun, and Rudimentary Peni always fit a mood of course. But, damn, when we record again I would like to do something similar to Wax Fang's The Astronaut. Like Minor Threat meets Pink Floyd...if that makes sense. But Morgan and Dave have great ideas and their own influences as well. I will always value their input and admit where it's better. But I wouldn't underestimate us regardless.

7. What's been your favorite show to play and why?

Grossenbart Brewery in Longmont was a great venue. I felt like we really made some good human connections there. I definitely got a lot of hugs after that performance. But we also played on the steps of the Capitol Building this year. Sure, not the biggest audience, and Westword totally didn't mention us, but not every band can say they've played on the steps of their city's Capitol Building.

8. What's your take on the current Punk Rock music scene?

I encourage and admire many a band we've seen or shared a stage with. Punk rock thrives and isn't dying out. And it comes in many varieties for sure. I guess where we're unique to it is that listeners hear Corrosion of Conformity or sometimes Motorhead in our sound. Or, as one Australian reviewer put it; proto punk, 70s UK Punk, and 80s American Hardcore. I mean...mission accomplished!

9. What's next for you to close out 2026?

Right now for 2026, it's been playing shows and promoting the "Oh, The Times We Live In..." EP as much as possible. Sure, most audiences aren't as excited about music as I'd like, and I know I can't compete with Taylor Swift, but I hope to get attention drawn to it as much as possible. And it's always validating to see when people in other cities and countries are listening to what we do. Even if just one or two songs. But I am wanting to record again. We have one new song written. Hoping to produce six or so more by September if possible!
