From: North Carolina
Sounds like: Alternative Rock/Pop Punk

1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound?

We are three lifelong friends that have always played instruments and played in separate bands but one day we decided to finally form a band between the 3 of us. Our sound is a mixture of a lot of things pulling from punk/pop/grunge influences. It has changed through the years just by experience.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

We tend to view our music as a raw, emotion release and a form of therapy for people to connect to. When it comes to live performances we want people just to escape from their problems for the time being and just release all the energy they have.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

Alternative with pop punk elements.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

We would like to tour with Makes My Blood Dance, Powerman 5000, Genitortures and if we are really shooting for stars Blink-182.

5. What's your thoughts on AI generated music?

We are against AI generated music.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Alternative Rock/Pop Punk?

We love alternative rock/pop punk. We wish it were more mainstream today but there are so many good artists that deserve so much more than what they have currently. Love the artist and the community around punk music in general usually.

7. What’s the current local music scene like there in North Carolina?

North Carolinas music scene is full of awesome and supportive people but a lot of our biggest supporters are in Virginia. We have found great communities within both states.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

Artists should get a bigger cut out of royalties from streaming services especially the big names.

9. What’s next for PinkField?

We have some shows lined up for the end of this summer and the beginning of fall and we are currently writing our next album in hopes to start recording that this winter.

10. Any shoutouts?

Shoutout White Reverie, To Be A King and NiCaea. Great bands and amazing people.
