Drowning Leo is a 3 piece band from Asheville, NC with Alternative Rock relatability and a Punk Rock spirit. Influenced by a wide range of rock artists like Green Day, Blink182, Weezer, Tool, Deftones, Slash, and Hendrix, their sound has been described as "fresh but familiar". These guys are known for putting on a great show and having a blast while doing it!
After spending some time honing their skills in local bars and breweries as an Alt Rock cover band, Drowning Leo has pivoted to original music with their debut EP “Dead Weight” and singles “Conspiracy” and “The Good Guy”. A full-length album is in the works for 2026.
With songs that combine huge hooks, a rocking rhythm section, shredding guitar riffs, and heartfelt lyrics alongside a fun and engaging live show, Drowning Leo is sure to make a mark on the Asheville rock scene and beyond!
