Heart for Bait is an original doom/stoner metal band out of Northern New Jersey. The band was formed in 2016, and has evolved into a fusion of classic heavy rock, rock and roll, and blues and more contemporary modern heavy metal vibes. Influences range from Zeppelin, Sabbath, Tull, and The Stones, to Clutch, High on Fire, Sleep, Death, Motorhead, Fear Factory, Prong, Godflesh. The band puts particular emphasis on heavy guitar centered riffing, melodic vocals, with a powerful and groovy rhythme section. What defines the band is a passion for the heavy brand of music we play, and a love for playing loud music together.
The band is guitarist Al Ajello, Andy Ajello on drums, Dom Czyzewski on lead vocal and guitar, and Pat Muscari on bass.
