From: Reading, UK
Sounds like: Funk/Rock

Reading, UK funk/rock band The Final Clause Of Tacitus draw influences from funk, rock, metal, and rap that melds together perfectly for their EP. The tracks "7 Years", "Transverse Orientation" and "Figureheads Of Speech" were all recorded live as part of their Live Room Recordings. "7 Years" is funky in all of the right places. The track is catchy as hell and showcases the TFCOT sound perfectly. You'll be singing along to the track in no time. "Transverse Orientation" opens up with some spoken word before erupting into a track that is sure to grab the listeners attention. It has some southern draw to the track while still maintaining their diverse funk rock sound. "Your Next Click" features stellar guitar work and some excellent rapping on the verses. This is a great track that has tremendous radio appeal. "Figureheads Of Speech" kicks things off in a very Rage Against The Machine like sound. There's even a touch of early 311 on the track as the funky grooves will get your toes tapping throughout its three and a half minute length. The band is currently scheduled to record new material soon and we can't wait to hear more from this very diverse band.

Verdict:
The Final Clause Of Tacitus look to bring their style of funk, rock, metal and rap to the masses with this EP.
