Sounds like: Metal

The opener "Failure" is heavy from the first note to the last. The Metalcore vibes are strong as the breakdowns and aggression come through at a full clip throughout its runtime. As an opener, the track grabs the listener and doesn't let go. "Friends" has more of a Nu Metal feel to it with its vocals and instrumentation. The track brings the breakdowns but it could go right alongside the early 2000 Nu Metal bands for sure. "Split" is the shortest track on the album and it brings back the more modern Metalcore feel. The guitars swirl, the harsh vocals are super aggressive and the riffs are at breakneck speed. "The Blaze of Glory" has some nice melodic riffs with its chorus and the vocals go back and forth between Modern Metalcore, Nu Metal and early Slipknot. It's a unique vocal dynamic but combined with the instrumentation, it works quite well. "Libra (The Harmony In Our Lifetime)" hits like a Metalcore hurricane. The track is awesome and they really tighten things up more with all the elements. "Grace" is a semi acoustic track but near the halfway mark it erupts with a wall of sound that pours out all of its passion and emotion. It would be a great track to play live as the crowd would eat it up. "There's No Way To Make It, I Tried But I Failed In The Life Of Love And Hate" is another slower track but ramps up to unleash Metal fury at times. It's more of a rollercoaster of emotion than the previous track but it still packs a punch. The epic closer "The Answer" is outstanding and wraps things up perfectly. The band pits on a full display of their abilities with the track and showcases their talents to a T.

Verdict:
Heedless Elegance pack an almighty Metal punch with their "Libra" album.
