ARTILLERY & STORM Announce New EP “"A Narrow Escape"”, Out Halloween
Chicago-based alternative metal outfit ARTILLERY & STORM are set to unleash their brand-new EP, "A Narrow Escape", on Halloween 2025. Known for their explosive live energy and the best light show to hit local stages in years, ARTILLERY & STORM fuse modern hard rock with synths, samples, and cinematic strings. Drawing comparisons to genre heavyweights like BAD OMENS, BRING ME THE HORIZON, and STARSET, the five-piece outfit is set to deliver their most dynamic and personal collection of songs to date.
"A Narrow Escape" takes listeners on a journey through haunting atmospheres, raw emotion, and powerful riffs. Opening with “Mirage”, a soaring track featuring guest vocals from Josie Batista of AND THE ANIMAL, who duets with the band on a song that blurs the line between illusion and reality. The EP also includes a bold reimagining of THE WHITE STRIPES classic “Seven Nation Army”, given a hard-hitting ARTILLERY & STORM twist. The chaotic anthem “wEird” pushes themes of identity and defiance, while “Static” drowns listeners in distortion and energy, capturing the noise of modern life and the struggle to cut through it. Closing the record is an acoustic version of “Suture”, first released in 2023, showcasing the band’s versatility and emotional depth.
