From: Nashville, TN
Sounds like: Progressive Metalcore

Old Man Oblivion from Nashville, TN describe themselves as "six individuals with a taste for Metal got together, threw all of their musical and artistic interests into a giant pot, and brewed up a tasty musical menagerie called Old Man Oblivion". With that being said, how does their newest EP sound? Let;s take a listen in our newest review. The opener "Dawn" is an epic opener. The near eleven, yes eleven, minute track consists of so much depth and so many layers that the run time doesn't even matter. The track takes its time and draws out so much passion, emotion and controlled chaos. "Anxiety: The Musical" has some Dog Fashion Disco twang to it. There's also a slight craziness of Dillinger Escape Plan to it. There's so much to like on the track as it churns along like a runaway freight train. The closer "Sunset Solenoid" opens with an out of this world breakdown as the melodic vocals soar with ease. The track has a ton of melody but also that harshness that really lets loose with riffs, breakdowns and guttural vocals. If you want an EP filled to the brim with all kinds of variations of Metalcore, this band is for you!

Verdict:
Old Man Oblivion take you on a Progressive Metalcore journey via their new EP.
