1. What's new with Generation Underground?

We got a brand new lineup, new album & we’ve been on an absolute tear the last few months between gaining a lot of fans & a lot of traction as well with everything else.

2. Your new full length album was recently released, how's the response been to it thus far?

The response has been great on the new album better than I or the guys could have possibly imagined.

3. What's the funnest track to play live off the new album?

I would say “Y” the song is extremely catchy & people seem to enjoy the energy that comes along with it as well.

4. You guys had a shakeup recently with members, what do the new members bring to the table?

Our new members Justin & Nick bring exactly what we’ve been lacking over the years which is dedication & skills something our previous members have lacked.

5. What's your thoughts on cover songs?

I think they're cool, it’s good middle ground between you & your fans so they feel a little bit more comfortable with your set.

6. What's the best part of performing live? Any pre-show rituals?

Interacting with our fans is absolutely the best part of preforming live for sure. I like to warm up my voice with Melissa Cross’s The Zen Of Screaming cd & then some guitar warm ups to get ready for the show. I try to get in zone mentally like 45 minutes to a half hour before we get on stage so that I’m ready to destroy. Can’t let what’s going on in your life affect what goes on with your set.

7. What's your thoughts on digital outlets (Spotify, Apple Music, etc,.) and how they pay royalties to artists?

I think Apple Music & Spotify are great for bands like us, it gets us a level of exposure that we would never have before. I mean their pay out rate isn’t much but it’s better than nothing cause that’s how it was with file sharing so I’ll take some money vs no money.

8. What are you currently listening to?

I’ve been listening to a lot of random stuff between City Morgue, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Whitechapel, Volumes, Avenged Sevenfold & a lot of other different stuff. You might find Post Malone on my phone & then the next song literally might be Thy Art Is Murder you never know.

9. What do you wish to accomplish in the next year with Generation Underground?

I would like to increase our fan base, get endorsed by more companies & play in cities that we have yet to play in.
