Sounds like: Rock

1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Phazed" and is there any meaning behind it?

I got started in music listening to hard rock albums that my mom showed me when I was 9 years old, I started writing lyrics at that same age and started writing songs when I picked up guitar at 15. I came up with the name Phazed at 14 when I decided I wanted to write about the different phases of my life.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

What I want people to take from our music is that they're never alone. I want people to listen to the struggles that I've gone through and hopefully make them feel better.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

I'd describe our sound to an average listener as Hard Rock.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Saint Asonia, Badflower, and Seether.

5. What are your three desert island albums that you'd never get tired of listening to?

"One-X" by Three Days Grace, "Swan Songs" by Hollywood Undead and "Chapter V" by Staind.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Rock?

Rock is on the rise. Theres so much good rock music out there nowadays, people just can't be scared to go looking for it.

7. What’s the current music scene like there in Pennsylvania both locally and state wide?

The music scene in PA is also very much on the rise. So many good bands are around just our area right now.

8. What’s your take on legal/illegal music downloading?

At the end of the day unfortunately there's no way to stop it, if someone were to illegally download our music I'd just be thrilled people went to that length to get it.

9. What’s next for Phazed?

We're currently writing more songs for our 2nd album.

10. Any shoutouts?

We'd like to thank all of our fans for supporting us. We'd like to shout out our local music friends in No Rain Checks, Mahantongo, Look Alive, and Faith in Exile, I could name so many more but the list would never end.
