1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Surviving Seasons" and is there any meaning behind it?

Billy and Pj have been playing together for over twenty years in numerous bands. One day we were working on creating a new band and we received a call from Nick (who we knew since High School) saying he just moved in next door to Billy. We invited him over to jam and the rest was history. Pj came up with the band name. We all have jobs where we're required to work outside in all the elements which is sometimes difficult, hence the name Surviving Seasons.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

A release of angst and a sense of purpose. Feelings from the depths and heights of life.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

Grungy punk with a pop edge. (Ocean State Punk Rock)

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Alkaline Trio, Ballyhoo!, and Bayside.

5. How has Covid affected what you do as a band?

It gave us time to write and record our album. We learned to find our digital edge to spread our music worldwide.

Surging.

7. What’s the current music scene like there in Rhode Island?

Slow starting but gradually reopening to musicians.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

Grand theft Artistry.

9. What’s next for Surviving Seasons?

New music, New Album, New Sound and gigs to back it up.

10. Any shoutouts?

First off, Our wives and families for always supporting us and for putting up with our crap. Our friends, our associates and all the bands that inspire us.
