1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “All Wrong” and is there any meaning behind it?

Both of our guitarists (who both sing for All Wrong) were in a garage punk band a few years ago, and formed All Wrong shortly after breaking up. Our name actually came from the song 'All Wrong' off of 'What You Don't See' by The Story So Far. I think we just really liked the song to be honest, but their sound has been a major influence in our writing as well.

2. What do you want listeners to take away from your "Where It Went Wrong" EP?

At this point, we feel like we've matured and improved as artists, but we like Where It Went Wrong for a lot of reasons as well. It was well recorded, which many bands can't say about their first few releases, and that's pretty cool. We want our fans to understand that Where It Went Wrong will always be a special record for us, even though our next releases will sound very different.

3. What can people expect from your live show?

Anger and heart. A lot of our songs are about things and people that hurt us, or changed the way we see the world. Songs like "Dead Eyes", and a new one called "Keychain" bring out that angst and disdain that we try to keep contained.

4. What's your favorite track to play live?

There are a few favorites. Nick loves to play "Keychain", our drummer Aaron really likes the last track on our new EP. We all love playing the title track off of the new one.

5. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Citizen, Knuckle Puck, or Sorority Noise. We all look up to those bands, and there are a lot of great people behind their music.

6. Any crazy show stories?

Nothing super crazy yet, but our crowds have been awesome, and being able to hear them sing over the monitors is a great feeling. We did get to play a show with a band called 888. Before that, they played in the bands Drop Dead, Gorgeous and Bleach Blonde. That was really cool.

7. What’s your take on the current state of punk?

People love to say that punk is a cop out genre because it's easy to write and a lot of that criticism is justified, but some of the new bands like Knuckle Puck and Real Friends have been creating more complex music that is still rooted in the punk scene. We think that All Wrong does a good job of adding complexity and thoughtfulness to our lyrics and music to create something that defies that stereotype, and we're proud of that.

8. What’s the current music scene like there in Colorado both locally and state wide?

Local punk bands are insanely talented here, especially around Colorado Springs. We've gotten to play with bands that completely blew us away. Punk, in its many forms, is still kicking hard in CO.

9. What’s your take on legal/illegal music downloading?

We believe that if you have the money to do so, you should support bands that you listen to. Most of your local bands have stuff that's free or very inexpensive even if you don't have a lot to spend. The bottom line, however, is we are happy if our music is being heard at all.

10. What’s next for All Wrong?

Our new EP, entitled 'We're Bitter' is going to drop in the near future. After that, we're just going to play as many shows as we can, and hopefully get out of state very soon.

11. Any shoutouts?

Our friends in Dastard deserve way more credit than they get. We will be playing with them again, as soon as we can.
