Sounds like: Progressive Metal

"A Paradise Lost Pt. 1" begins with symphonic tones alongside stellar piano work. The operatic vocals kick in and it glides along a melodic path. The journey like track builds an ambience of calm as it contains two minutes of pure bliss and haunting tones towards the end. "A Paradise Lost Pt. 2" takes the darkness and runs with it. The track is five minutes of more Metal sound. The intro to the track goes bonker until the Iron Maiden like vocals take hold. The riffs and instrumentation keep their heaviness throughout the verses and actually crank up a few notches during the chorus. The breakdowns are intense when they get conjured up. There's a guitar solo around the two minute mark that dips down the pacing for a bit. The ending of the track sees it bring together its natural Metal sound along with the opening track's sound to create an epic closing.

Verdict:
Void Mother pack an epic punch with their newest release.
