Sounds like: Party Metal

1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name "Bloodklotz" and is there any meaning behind it?

BloodKlotz was created by Josh Klotz, prior to 2015. The name originated as a play-off Josh’s last name, but then evolved into the concept that we are all family. As far as how we got started, collectively we all got started in different ways, but we all came together with the same love for music. Some of us have our roots in heavy metal and some in punk rock; we all developed our own unique sound by combining the two.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

Don’t take life too seriously, and escape from the normal everyday bullshit and have fun.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

You take a little bit of punk and a little bit of metal, and you got Party Metal.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Any of our local friends, Iron Maiden.

5. How has Covid affected what you do?

We were still awesome.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Party Metal?

Party Metal is a unique genre that we would like to see develop more.

7. What's the current music scene like there in Pennsylvania?

For such a small area, there are a lot great acts.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

We haven’t really worked with that as of yet.

9. What’s next for Bloodklotz?

World Domination.

10. Any shoutouts?

All our fans, who know and love us, our families, and everyone who's supported us.
