1. How you guys doin? How's the vocalist search going?

Chris-
We are all doing fine. The search is going good, we found a vocalist that is dedicated and has potential.

2. How did the band come about and form?

Javier-
The band started in 06' as a death metal band... throughout the years members' came in and out until me and Chris and Carl decided to play something different. We just played the style we had been talking about and with the help of our old vocalist Adriane we recorded 3 songs and really liked how it came out instrumentally. Once Carl left the band we got Carlos to be our other guitarist. We had gone through a million singers haha until we got our new vocalist (metal)mike.

3. You guys working on any new material? Is there a release date in the near future for a possible EP?

Carlos-
We are recording a full e.p on the 6th and 7th.
Packed with exclusive unheard shit.

4. You're from Texas which has always been a well known haven for metal and rock music, how is the scene like down there recently?

Chris-
The scence down here in San Antonio is great alot of kids support local bands that they like but if your a band that doesn't entertain them they will not support you.

5. If you could tour with three bands who would they be?

Javier-
I would tour with Misery Signals which is the greatest band of all time, Refused because i've been listening to them since I was a in middle school. I would also tour with Love is Red cause they are just amazing.

6. Have you guys watched the Olympics at all? If so, what sports have you been most interested in?

Carlos-
Dont you mean did we see Michael Phelps wreck shit?
yeaaa we saw it and the redeem team as well. Actually not gonna lie I got really into the basketball.

7. What's your thoughts on illegal music downloading?

Chris-
I really dont care as long as it gets out to people.

8. What is your favorite song to play live and why?

Javier-
I honestly love every moment of our live set. I just feel it through my veins as the music is playing, its an indescribable feeling.

9. What are you guys currently listening to?

Carlos-
The new verse.

10. What's next for Hope Of Divine Mercy?

Chris-
We are going to record our first full length E.P. and hopefully get out for our winter tour.

11. Any shoutouts?

First off to Javier's mom for letting us practice in the backhouse whenever we wanted. All the great bookings from, Altered state, Jenn and Dave at the white rabbit and everyone else who came through. All our families for being supportive of our dreams and who have always been there for us. Also, all of the local kids that have came out to our shows and supported us also all of the san antonio local bands who helped when we needed it and King Conquer, our boys from Florida.
