From: Connecticut
Sounds like: Hard Rock

1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name “Diana Drive" and is there any meaning behind it?

We developed our sound in our lab, of course, concocting just the right mix of hard rock, prog, and listenability. The band name stems from an incredibly slow Uber driver. Drive!!!!!!! ugh.

2. What do you want people to take away from your music?

There is no such thing as dark matter. We live in a plasma universe.

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

Hard Rock that is not following Albert Einstien’s definition of insanity.

4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?

Nothing More, I Prevail and Bring Me the Horizon.

5. How has Covid affected what you do as a band?

Convientiently, we were already wearing masks, so we didn’t need to change all that much.

6. What’s your take on the current state of Hard Rock?

Thanks to bands like Nothing More, I Prevail, Bring Me the Horizon, and others, it appears that Hard Rock is making inroads.

7. What’s the current music scene like there in Connecticut?

We’ll let you know when one transpires.

8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?

We want our 6-thousandth’s of a cent for that stream you just played please.

9. What’s next for Diana Drive?

We are busy bees. More videos, more singles, more content. At some point we’ll leave the lab for the stage, but until the power that be determine that an option, we’ll continue to bring the online content.

10. Any shoutouts?

Brian Greene, amazing… it just popped out
