Sounds like: Pop Punk
1. How did you get started with music and how did you develop your sound? Who thought of the name "Dazed" and is there any meaning behind it?
We all started pretty young with music, our parents and families have been in bands so we just picked it up from them.. we developed our sound by just playing and doing things how we do it.. Actually, my (Dallas Andrist) sister thought of the name a few years ago and it stuck.. not sure how or what.
2. What do you want people to take away from your music?
I want the people to take the energy and creativity from us and hopefully do something on their own, musically speaking.
3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?
Fast, down your throat, punk as hell.
4. Who are three bands you’d like to tour with?
Rancid, Reel big fish, and The Distillers.
5. How has Covid affected what you do as a band?
It really hasn't, we only missed a week or two of practice because of it but we've been really healthy and we still played through it.
6. What’s your take on the current state of Pop Punk?
I think it's great, Punk and Pop punk will live forever and there are plenty of great bands out there that have and are doing it.
7. What’s the current music scene like locally there in Ohio?
It's not bad, our town is a Sh*t hole when it comes to supporting local bands but there are bands all over Ohio.
8. What’s your take on the royalties that streaming services pay out to artists?
UH.. not really sure we don't really care about the money.. we just want to be known for playing.
9. What’s next for Dazed?
TOUR..TOUR..TOUR.. weve played enough around the area.. it's time to tour all over and spread the word.
