Diamond City is a 4-piece alternative rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
As per Sully from Surge105: "They’ve been on the scene since 2021 and are picking up steam at a crazy pace! Halifax’s own, born and grown, Diamond City is led by Mike Bellefontaine on lead vocals and guitar, with Devon Roberts on the kit, Joey Giles on Guitar and Cody Giles on Bass. Their sound has been described as a mix of Thrice, the Foo Fighters and Nirvana. As heard on Sully on Surge 105, though, we decided to also toss in a Linkin Park along with a rare Hoobastank comparison as well."

"Make It Out" Single Review
The track opens with swirling guitars to get the party started. The instrumentation then bursts right through with an incredible guitar solo leading the way. The chunky riffs seep in around the same time that the vocals kick in and the first verse gets into the forefront. The chorus is slightly aggressive and veers into the more Hard Rock side of things. The guitar work is splendid throughout and really creates the sense of Rock atmosphere. When the pacing picks things up, everything still works well in its delivery. The bridge goes with a heavier instrumentation approach and really shows off its teeth in that regard. The chorus helps wraps things up and ends the track in grand style.
Verdict:
Diamond City knock it out of the park with their newest single.
