1. You guys have a show tomorrow. What can people expect from your live show? What’s your favorite track to play live?

People can expect lots of movement and great stage presence from us. Also a very heavy and brutal sound. Favorite track to play live off of the EP has to be “I Tried To Write A Song That Didn't Involve Killing People...It Didn't Work(Killing People)”

2. What was your inspiration behind the “The End Of My Existence” EP? How did the recording process go? Who produced and mastered it?

The inspiration behind the EP was basically just what we thought sounded good and what would make us stand out from other bands. The recording process went great and it was produced/mastered by Josh Castenada. He does great work...look him up!

3. How would you describe your sound to the average listener?

This is just me(Mitchell) but I'd say that its a good mix of metalcore and deathcore.

4. What’s the metal/hardcore scene like there in TX?

I think it has gotten better in the recent years. There's a bunch of great bands from here!

5. What three bands would you love to play a show with?

To play with Lamb Of God would be a dream come true. The other 2 would probably have to be Whitechapel or Chelsea Grin.

6. What are you guys currently listening to?

We all listen to metal of course. Sometimes different styles of metal than others but I've mainly been listening to a lot of Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Upon A Burning Body.

7. Who are some of your influences?

I can't really pick bands by name as our influences. It's mainly just ALL metal in general.

8. What’s your take on illegal/legal music downloading?

It doesn't really bother me. Money really isn't a big thing to me...I think its more about just getting people to hear your music.

9. What’s next for In Defense Of The Depths?

As of now we just plan on playing shows and trying to get our name out there. We may record a few more songs in the upcoming months too!

10. Any shoutouts?

We'd like to give a shout out to all our fans, Josh Castenada for recording our EP, and our friends in From Broken To Blessed and Wish Me Well.
